About Us

FACEPLANT SK8CHURCH INTERNS
At FacePlant SkateChurch we have shifted directions in how we are developing leadership. While there may always be a SkateChurch Pastor, we are now in the process of having interns come in, learn how to lead and be released in their leadership of FacePlant SkateChurch. Christian Jung, founder or FacePlant Ministries, is currently the SkateChurch Pastor after returning from the foreign mission field. Curtis Christensen, Ricky Brewer and Brian Worcester, all who came through FacePlant Ministries themselves as youths are our first three FacePlant SkateChurch interns.

About Me

RICKY BREWER
What's up? My name is Ricky Brewer. I have been skating for about 10 years. I have been living for the Lord for 8 years. I started going to SkateChurch in 2006; I was 16 years old and have been going ever since. I came to know the Lord after going through a hard time in my life, and after going to youth group, I gave my life to God. Then my skate buddy told me about SkateChurch and when I went, it was like home to me. Now I'm 20 years old and I help lead it. I love to try to help the kids get better at skating.

About Me

BRIAN WORCESTER

I first came to SkateChurch in 2006, when SkateChurch first started...I was 14 years old and going into 9th grade. I was a little skeptical at first, because the church that met there before used to call the cops on me for skating and then all of a sudden started a skate church. Soon after I first started going to SkateChurch, I raised my hand for prayer, and Christian prayed with me to receive Christ. It hit me super hard, Something I've never felt before. After back-sliding for about a year, I returned to SkateChurch, realized what I had been doing, and decided to completely follow Christ. SkateChurch changed my life and as an intern, I want to see other kids' lives changed through FacePlant Ministries as well.

About Me

CURTIS CHRISTENSEN
When I was 12 years old I had a friend invite me to come skate at his church. I was excited and nervous at the same time. I'd never been to a youth group before. I remember walking in and not knowing anyone except Josh Newton and feeling like a loner. But then everyone started acting really accepting and really brought me in and made me feel loved. It was until the second week of youth group I realized these people weren't acting at all. I love my church and know I am loved by them. I consider them family. Likes: Music, blues, instruments, coffee. Dislikes: Early morning w/out coffee.

Team FacePlant

Team FacePlant
Sponsored Skaters

About Us

Team FacePlant was made up of skaters who were sponsored by FacePlant Ministries from 2008 to 2010. We were sponsored not only because we shred, but also because we have a personal, hand-holding relationship with Jesus Christ. We have led small groups at SkateChurch every Thurday night from 2008 to 2009. We also have taken trips to different skateparks and have produced short videos as well.
